HHBJC Minyan Attendance

Our weekly minyanim, presently conducted outdoors, has a space limit, requiring pre registration. The outdoor location will be on the 210th street side of the building.  Only Evening Minyan is being conducted this way and we are limiting attendance to 12 people.  Given that we will convene the service with at least 10 congregants, we will also be online and those who participate online can chant Kaddish if they are unable to attend in person.  Until we move indoors, inclement weather may cause cancellation - we will notify participants on or before 6:30 pm of any cancellation the day of a specific minyan.  Our services for hagim and Shabbat will be indoors and does also require registration. We are limiiting the indoor service to 15 people.

We ask that you be mindful of the need to wear masks, social distance, practice personal and particularly hand hygiene, and other measures to reduce the risk of the spread of infection. Outdoor distancing is strict at 6 feet. Indoors it will be 12 feet. Also indoors we do require that eacy person sit separately even if part of the same household. People who do not adhere to these measures will be asked not to come back, and if enough people cannot abide by these guidelines, we will shut down the Minyanim.

People over the age of 65 and those with other noted risk factors such as obesity, diabetes mellitus or hypertension should consult with their doctor before attending. Anyone who is not yet comfortable in returning to the sanctuary in this manner should feel no pressure to do so. It is imperative for all of us to judge everyone favorably in these times, respecting everyone’s choices and needs.

Based on your responses to the health questions you will be either automatically eligible to register or you will be informed that you are ineligible.  If you have questions or need help completing the form, please contact the office at  Please note a separate form MUST be submitted for each person planning to attend. YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR NAME TO HAVE A VALID REGISTRATION AND RESERVATION

Since your responses are provided in some instances as least a week prior to attendance, for outdoor attendance please let us know if there are changes in your responses. At such time as we are indoors, there will be screeners to ask if the responses are still accurate and we will conduct temperature checks.

Please note that preference will be given to those that are saying Kaddish.
Under the current circumstances, you are not eligible to attend an in-person minyan. Thank you for your interest. If you have further questions, please contact the office at
